There are game genres that I like but I objectively suck on that. One of these genres are japanese SHMUPs, which started for me with Truxton (1988) at the arcades on the beach and still continues nowadays. Probably due to my incapability with this genre I'm not able to create a real 'bullet hell', so I've probably created a 'bullet heaven' with Bullet Wing - like old shooters on ZX Spectrum or Commodore 64, which used to slow down a lot when there were few bullets on screen.

Story now!

Earth is in danger once again! Purple invaders are coming to conquer our planet... only Red Fighters can save the day! Move your ship with UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT and shoot with the A BUTTON!

PS: After 3 years I've rediscovered this game. I wanted to mix some japanese SHMUP elements, like the ship design, the urban background and the metal panel transitions, with the pace of C64 SEUCK style shooters. I've added some hiscores, music, sound effects and the iconic 'Warning' message the boss. Aw! Spoilers!
